The Diploma in Real Estate Agency (DREA) is a part-time diploma programme that caters for working adult looking to enhance their career in real estate industry.

Conducted by seasoned real estate agents and leading academics, DREA is the start of your pathway to become a registered estate agent. DREA graduates receive full exemption from Part 1 and Part 2 of the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVEAP)'s Estate Agents Written Examination, and you can apply to be Probationary Estate Agents (PEA) after the completion of DREA.

  • Real Estate Agent

    A real estate agent or broker is a person who represents sellers or buyers of real estate or real property. While a broker may work independently, an agent usually works under a licensed broker to represent clients.

  • Property Management

    Property management is the operation, control, maintenance, and oversight of real estate and physical property. This can include residential, commercial, and land real estate.

  • Real Estate Consultant

    A real estate consultant, also known as a real estate advisor, provides advice to clients—commercial real estate investors, lenders, or property developers—to help them make financial decisions about real estate transactions.

  • Facilities Management

    Facilities management includes: Lease management, including lease administration and accounting. Capital project planning and management.

  • Real Estate Valuation

    A property’s valuation determines its market value, and is one of the most important concepts in real estate investing.

 

1.Pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with minimum of 3 credits, or

2.Pass United Examination Certificate (UEC) with grade B in 3 subjects, or

3.Pass O-Level with minimum grade C for 3 subjects

4.Pass STPM or equivalent with minimum grade C NGMP:2.0) in 1 subject or,

5.Pass Certificate (Level 3, KKM) or,

6.Other equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysia Government.

Biography

Dr. Sr Murni Mohamad is a distinguished academic leader with over a decade of experience in the higher education industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Real Estate from Universiti Malaya, where she also completed her Master’s degree.

Prior to her appointment as CEO, Dr. Murni demonstrated exceptional leadership within the academic sector. She previously served as Head of Department at International College Imperia and as a Programme Manager at the University of Malaya-Wales (UMW). Her administrative expertise is highlighted by her proven track record in securing full five-year accreditation for multiple degree programs from both the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BoVAEP) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Dr. Murni is deeply committed to bridging the gap between academic theory and professional practice. She is a registered member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM). Her active research portfolio focuses on the intersection of technology and property, with recent publications addressing ICT adoption among real estate agents in Malaysia.
