The Edutourism Programme is a structured learning experience that combines education with travel, allowing participants to explore new environments while gaining practical knowledge and skills. This programme is designed to provide hands-on learning beyond the classroom through site visits, interactive workshops, cultural immersion, and industry exposure.
What is Edutourism?
The EDUTOURISM Programme by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) is a strategic initiative that integrates education and tourism to promote Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) as world-class learning destinations. Through this program, both international and local students have the opportunity to experience holistic education through unique academic, cultural, community, and environmental activities in Malaysia. This program also supports the internationalization of higher education and strengthens education diplomacy as a medium for knowledge exchange, cultural understanding, and global networking.
