Ms Sanglisha is a lecturer and HR at International College Imperia, Subang Jaya.
She has been involved in the education industry for the past 6 years. She was Universiti Sains Malaysia’s (USM) first female to take a double degree program, majoring in Journalism and Political Science, as well as minoring in Anthropology and Sociology.
Currently, she is the Women Leader of Malaysian Indian Youth Council in the Selangor State. She was the first female President (Yang Di Pertua) of Communication Society (PERKOM), USM and has multiple experiences in parliamentary debates. She has also represented USM and Malaysia for a Student Colloquium Program at Hiroshima University, Japan. She is also a member of the Young Women’s Parliament (Parlimen Wanita Muda) and was recently featured on Selamat Pagi Malaysia (RTM) to share her views on ‘Undi 18: Wanita Tidak Ketinggalan’ (Voting at age 18: Women are not left behind).
Previously, she was the 2nd Runner-up of Miss Earth Malaysia 2021 with the subsidiary title of Best Speech and finalist of Miss World Malaysia 2021. She has also worked as a news reporter at The Star Media Group.
