Objective: To produce graduates who are qualified as Probationary Estate Agent, with full exemption from Written Examinations from the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers, Malaysia (BOVEAP). The graduates produced are resourceful and competent with in-depth knowledge on various aspects of real estate agency management. They are able to contribute to the real estate industry and abide by the ethical and professional standards and codes.
Diploma in Estate Management is a professional programme preparing students for the practice of property valuation, property management and real estate agency. The programme combines legal, technical, economic, financial and managerial knowledge domain in real estate industry.

This diploma is also the pathway for graduates to directly enter into the second year of Liverpool John Moore University (United Kingdom) 3+0 honours degree programme in real estate management. You can always opt to transfer to LJMU in your final year.

LEVEL 1 (YEAR 1)
This level introduces the theory and principles and apply valuation concepts and methodologies use in determining the market value of a property. Besides that, this course in-depth study of regulations and guidelines relating to the sale, purchase, rent, lease of property in Malaysia and The Law of Contract and Tort. Moreover, this level also introduces student to the various types of building services, construction principles, material and detailing commonly used in property construction. It also incorporates site analysis and site establishment, energy efficiency and waste management, construction systems, and finishes. Lastly, introduces students to the nature of planning and its historical evolution, the institution and organization involved, the framework of plans and other planning instruments, development control, land policy and environmental planning towards sustainable development.
LEVEL 2 (YEAR 2)
This level introduces the conceptual basis of statutory valuation, and how to apply differentiate methods according to statutory and property law requirements. Thus, student will be able to apply the knowledge of land acquisition in determining compensation, carrying out rating and calculation of stamp duty in real cases. Other than that, student will gain a knowledge on how to determine development land valuation as well as derived market value for special properties. Besides that, this level introduces students to the estate agency professionalism and practices in Malaysia as well as the principles and elements of property marketing and strategies of marketing. Furthermore, this course provides knowledge essential to become a property manager. In addition, students required to evaluate the regulations governing property management and discuss the relevant and important topics including list of activities and role of responsibilities such as preparation of management contract, building maintenance concept, the inspection process, types of defect and the remedy for building defects, handling tenancy, investment and safety/ security measures as property manager in the organization.
LEVEL 3 (YEAR 3, SEMESTER 1)
Industrial training is part of the college course where students spend part of their time on industrial placement. At this level, student to practice the knowledge gain at the college into reality of work through industrial training achieved from the placement. Completion of industrial training is a critical to success and completes the diploma programmed.
